Some B-Vitamins, particularly folic acid, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, choline, and PABA reduce blood levels of Homocysteine, which is an amino acid believed to contribute to cardiovascular disease by damaging the endothelium, a thin layer of cells that protect the artery walls.
